- Focus on business development on UK trade lane to increase CIF and FOB cargo volume.
- Collect information on potential clients for CIF/free hand business
- Make independent sales calls and secure CIF/free hand business
- Achieve sales targets and maximize opportunities of the multiplier effect
- Provide professional advice and feedback to customers / agents
- Define SOP for customers and make sure operations team is closely following up the SOP
- Act as coordinator to ensure smooth operation and customer satisfaction
- Liase and coordinate sales activities with all locations, to maximize CIF/FOB support
- Supply daily FOB sales leads and handle sales leads received from agent in a timely manner
- Collect outstanding on a timely basis
- Provide sales reports and other reports as required
- Maintain and update CRM system
- Responsible for other tasks assigned by superior from time to time
We are searching now a candidate with strong personality for sales.
- More than 5 years‘ experience in freight forwarding industry and familiar with the market
- Good understanding of written and spoken English
- Sales experience or Key account management experience is preferred
- Aggressive and willing to work under pressure
- Dynamic, self motivated, service and results orientated
- Good communication skills, self-confident, enthusiastic
- ‘Can do' attitude able to perform under pressure
- Ambitious in generating new business
- Ability and willingness to travel from time to time
